Jan Krueger is the slightly lesser-known half of Hello?Repeat – the slightly better-known half being Daze Maxim.
Jan Krueger is mostly a DJ – I can only find one track to his name that was released on Moon Harbour many moons ago, he’s been around a while DJing in the zone between minimal and house at the likes of Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse.
This is a glistening 2 hour mix for FSPC that starts deep and doesn’t take long to grab your attention with the notably addictive Float by Sandy Rivera – just a simple hook and not what you’d normally associate with Sandy Rivera.
It is mostly house music, though often deep and occasionally straying into more minimal sounds – and occasionally something a tad more pumping like Chris Simmonds’ I Changed My Mind – which reminds me of sunny afternoons at Ketoloco in London some years back.
A really fine mix and an enjoyment rating of 7.94.
