Ryan Elliott @ DGTL Festival, São Paulo, 6th May 2017
This is a rather classy house mix, which at times even verges on the funky.
For some reason I tend to associate Ryan Elliott more with techno than house, and I guess not unfairly as he does often play techno sets too. His productions, such as the excellent Stepmode, are generally techno-orientated.
It is refreshing to hear someone capable of playing a broad spectrum of house an techno sounds.
The mix has several peaks, though given the broad spectrum played – other people will have different peaks to me. I particularly enjoyed hearing The Vibe by DJ Bone again.
