Yuta Suzuki – Faciendo
Yuta Suzuki. Yep new one on me too, this is his mix for Faciendo.
Yuta Suzuki is a Japanese DJ, playing almost exclusively in Tokyo, of whom I knew nothing about before I listened to this mix, and very little after either.
I could probably just make up stuff and nobody would be any the wiser.
Anyway, this mix starts on the ambient (and quiet) side of things, before a bassline of intent arrives around the 13 minute mark – a pitched down version of this track:
Monstrous. In a calm kind of way.
Generally the mix is a nicely layered mix of different textures, broadly around house/tech-house but taking in different moods. You can see why different tracks were chosen to fit into each other nicely.
